About the programme

The Diploma support programme offers a comprehensive suite of training, consultancy and resources that is available to all practitioners preparing to deliver Diplomas.

The programme's overall purpose is to:

  • promote practitioner confidence and competence in delivering the Diploma
  • promote excellence in teaching and learning by providing practical support, guidance and tools for developing best practice
  • disseminate and build on current best practice to provide relevant CPD support.

The programme is delivered on behalf of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) by a partnership led by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT), and including the Learning and Skills Network, Pearson Education and theWorkshop.

About the website

The purpose of the website is to provide practitioners with a platform that will support their professional development in the context of the Diploma. The site allows practitioners to tailor and manage their own 'journey' as they prepare for Diploma delivery.
