Darren Bramley, Head of Cameras: Teamwork is everything in telly, years ago I used to work in college and we used to teach teamwork by making a TV programme and it was the best way for a team to work together.

Abi Donald, Output Editor: We all know each other quite a lot of us have worked together for a while you know each other's working patterns and getting to know each other is a really important thing. Check it find it for me if you can that would be great and a minute TV into the break competition out of the break guys.

One team will work during the day and hand over to another team overnight so often you will be picking up someone else's work that they have been working on all day they may have spoken to the guest on the phone they may have done a film with the guest and then that guest is going to come in, in the morning to a different team a different person's going to see them take over so it's very important that the communication between the day side team and the night side team is incredibly good and if that falls apart then obviously the show doesn't get to air.

Ravi Vandgama, Senior Producer: You really do have to work with other people and you also have to understand people's weaknesses and strengths because it's your job to make sure you get the best out of that person.

Brenda Phelps, Guest Greeter: It's like a small village here because they are unearthly hours so we are all working together and everybody relates to everybody else it doesn't work or pan out terribly well if someone goes missing.

John Stapleton, Presenter: There's 300 people work at GMTV you only see probably half a dozen of them on the screen but without all those other people we wouldn't exist, we are as good as the service we get.

Rupert Davies, Picture Researcher: It's not teamwork as your team building or sort of doing everything together as a unit. I think the key point about teamwork is being able to rely on your colleagues to have your back, to help you out and you trust them they trust you.

Deborah Harper, Costume Assistant: And obviously the show doesn't work unless we all pull together and it starts off obviously first thing in the morning with us - wardrobe and makeup but then of course the crew pull it all together on the floor but we all have to work together to make sure it works.

Rupert Davies: For example we did Prince Charles' birthday recently and that was an ongoing special project which we did a big piece on and that wasn't an individual doing it for a day it was a week's work for the whole team doing little bits here and there while they had the time and was good at the end and producing a package for the editors and producers.
