A huge range of professional development training and support is available to help you prepare for Diploma delivery.

Core workshops such as Inside the Workplace are essential and free. Each consortium is also entitled to three days of free bespoke training for each line of learning they deliver.

Essential for line leads and practitioners - gain experience of a sector-relevant working environment and explore employer engagement strategies.
Bespoke Diploma training
Three days of free training tailored to your consortium's needs.
Regional line of learning networks
Networks that help consortia in the same region to support each other across each line of learning.
Information, advice and guidance (IAG) support
IAG support for your consortium’s wider workforce through SSAT IAG Champions, a set of IAG frameworks and an online IAG community.
14-19 All staff briefing
A customised session for whole staff groups on the 14-19 reforms.
Vocational/applied learning training
Customised training on a range of generic topics around applied and vocational qualifications and Phase 1 Diplomas.
Foundation Learning Tier
Support for schools trialling the Progression Pathway to a Foundation Diploma or GCSEs.
Delivery 2010 and beyond
The new support package for those planning delivery from 2010 or beyond.

Essential for line leads – to support you in building your team and planning professional development support.

The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) and the Learning and Skills Network (LSN) are delivering programme training on behalf of the Quality Improvement Agency (QIA).
