Inside the Diploma training

These free introductory workshops are core for all practitioners who are new to the Diploma - whatever line of learning you specialise in. Line leads are also welcome to attend as an opportunity to continue building your team.

What is the content of the workshops?
The workshops will:

  • explain the design of the Diploma
  • cover its structure and modes of delivery
  • explore the different components of the qualification
  • look at associated pedagogical approaches
  • explain how the different components can be integrated
  • illustrate how active learning methods can be used.

The workshops will be line specific. There will be a trainer for each line of learning featured who will be a specialist in that line. Delegates should be involved in delivering one of the featured lines on each day.

A set of generic support materials will be available at the workshop.
