Inside the Workplace training

Inside the Workplace training

These workshops are essential for most Diploma teams, particularly line leads and practitioners. You'll gain experience of a sector-relevant working environment, enabling you to co-construct materials based on Diploma units. You'll also develop strategies for engaging with the sectors related to your Diploma line. A set of line-specific materials will be available for you to take away.

The objectives of the workshop are to help you:

  • gain an understanding of current working practices and technology, and a wider knowledge of the sector/organisation
  • develop practical ideas on how to apply Diploma learning using the workplace as a learning environment
  • develop opportunities to apply work-related learning to the Diploma, and embed it in your delivery
  • create an exciting and inspiring programme for learners
  • consider ways in which the workplace can support the development of principal learning and other components of the Diploma.
